VALERYD supplies lashing eyes for trailers and vans, for bolting to the floor or the side.
A lashing eye gives a rated anchoring point for a ratchet strap. Rated is the operative word: a bolt through the floor is not an anchoring point, and the strap is only as strong as what it is hooked to.
What the range covers
Four lashing eyes. Two are square plate types at 57x55 mm and 90x80 mm, the 57x55 rated at 1000 kg. Two are U-bolt types, the U-255 and the U-600.
Fitting
The plate types bolt flat to the bed or the side panel and need backing plates if the material is thin. The U-bolt types pass through and are secured underneath. Check that the fixing carries the same rating as the eye itself.
