Anchor points along an E track rail

The fitting locks into the slots of an E track rail, so the anchor point can be moved along the rail to suit each load instead of being fixed where the body happened to be drilled. A J-hook is hooked in and pulled taut, which makes it quick to move but means it wants a steady line of pull to stay seated. Check that the hook is fully home before tensioning, and confirm the rated capacity of the weakest part of the chain of strap, fitting and rail before you plan a load around it.
