Mud flaps on a trailer

A mud flap hangs behind the wheel and catches the water, grit and stones the tyre throws backwards, which keeps them off the vehicle behind and off the underside of the trailer itself. Rubber stays flexible in the cold, so the flap gives way rather than tearing if it catches a kerb. Check the cc dimension against your bracket before ordering, and replace a flap that has split at the fixings, since the tear will run.
