Endless webbing slings in polyester
An endless sling forms a closed loop instead of carrying a fitting at each end, so it can be taken up at any point around the loop and the wear does not always fall in the same place. Polyester webbing does not rust, but cuts, abrasion and heat damage it. Check the full length and the joint before every use, protect the webbing where it passes a sharp corner, and take the sling out of service if fibres are cut or melted or the label cannot be read.
