These terms and conditions apply to purchases made on valeryd.com. By placing an order, you accept these terms.

These terms are intended for private consumers. Business customers and resellers are referred to our B2B portal and the terms applicable there.

2. Orders and agreement

A binding contract is formed when we have confirmed your order by sending an order confirmation. The order confirmation contains details about products, price, delivery address and billing address.

If anything in the order confirmation is incorrect, please contact us immediately at order@valeryd.se. Once an order is confirmed, we may cancel it only where there is a valid legal ground, for example an obvious error that you recognised or should have recognised (such as an evident pricing error), non-payment, documented fraud, or if the product turns out not to be deliverable. If a confirmed product cannot be delivered, we tell you without delay and refund everything you paid for it. Your statutory rights in case of delay or non-delivery are not affected.

You must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a legal guardian to make a purchase.

3. Customer responsibility for product selection

Valeryd sells spare parts and accessories for trailers, caravans and similar vehicles. Before you order, we recommend that you check that the product is suitable for your vehicle or application. Your responsibility for giving correct information about your vehicle does not limit our obligation to provide correct product information and to deliver products that conform to the contract.

Before ordering and installing, we recommend:

Verifying that article numbers, dimensions, connections and other technical specifications match the vehicle's requirements
Contacting us or a reseller for advice before ordering if uncertain
Ensuring that installation is performed by a person with sufficient expertise, or by a professional where required by safety standards or regulations

Information and advice from Valeryd is for guidance purposes only. Valeryd does not provide any specific guarantee that a product fits a particular trailer or vehicle model beyond what is expressly stated in the product description. This does not limit your statutory rights where the product information was incorrect, where we expressly confirmed that a product fits your vehicle, or where a product does not conform to the contract.

Incorrectly ordered standard products may be returned under the right of withdrawal (see Return and Refund Policy). The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are not prefabricated and are made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised, such as axles that we weld or adapt on request. Standard catalogue products that we only assemble after you order them, such as gas springs in standard lengths and forces, are not made to your individual specifications, and the right of withdrawal applies to them as usual.

4. Prices and payment

All prices on valeryd.com are displayed in EUR and include VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping costs are added separately and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Price changes apply to future orders only; the price of an order already confirmed is the price in the order confirmation.

Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the purchase. Refunds are made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of having sent them back, whichever is earliest.

5. Payment and checkout

Valeryd uses Shopify Payments and, depending on the payment method you choose, other payment service providers to process transactions securely. The provider involved depends on the method you select and your country, and the methods available are shown at checkout. Additional terms from the payment provider may apply to some methods.

Available payment methods (availability may vary by country):

Card (such as Visa, Mastercard and other card brands shown at checkout) — processed securely by the payment provider concerned, in line with applicable security standards, including PCI DSS. Valeryd does not store your full card details.
Apple Pay — pay using a secure payment token instead of your actual card number.
Google Pay — pay using cards saved in your Google Wallet, with tokenisation and multiple layers of security.
Shop Pay — Shopify's accelerated checkout, which remembers your details for faster payment.
Klarna — pay now, pay later or in instalments. Klarna Bank AB handles the payment, including any credit check, under its own terms.
Local payment methods — depending on your country, for example Bancontact (Belgium), iDEAL | Wero (Netherlands), MB WAY (Portugal) and MobilePay (Denmark and Finland).

Valeryd does not perform credit checks — this is done, where applicable, by the payment method you select.

Security: Our payment providers apply security measures appropriate to the payment method and to applicable law. Where required, Strong Customer Authentication (for example 3D Secure) is applied.

6. Delivery

Standard delivery time is 2–5 working days for products in stock. Gas springs that are not in stock are assembled to order and delivered in about 7 days; they can be ordered regardless of stock. If a product on a confirmed order turns out not to be deliverable, section 2 applies. During peak periods, delivery times may be extended. These delivery times are estimates, unless a binding delivery date has been agreed. If no other delivery time has been agreed, we deliver without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded. If we do not deliver on time, your statutory rights for late delivery apply, including the right in the cases provided by law to set an additional period and then terminate the contract and be refunded.

Shipping is handled by PostNord and DHL. In some cases, products may be shipped directly from our suppliers using their logistics partners. Current shipping costs are displayed at checkout.

We deliver to all EU member states except Sweden. Customers in Sweden are welcome to shop at valeryd.se. For delivery outside these areas, please contact us for a quote before ordering.

You are responsible for giving a complete and correct delivery address. If incorrect or incomplete details that you gave us cause a delay or a failed delivery, we are not responsible to the extent the problem was caused by those details. This does not affect our statutory responsibility for delivering the goods, or our responsibility for errors by us or by a carrier for whom we are responsible.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a third party you have named other than the carrier, physically receive the goods. Please report visible transport damage to the carrier and to us as soon as possible. Late reporting does not affect your statutory rights.

7. Right of withdrawal, claims and statutory guarantee

8. Limitation of liability and force majeure

The webshop is open 24/7 for orders but may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, security updates or technical issues. Valeryd cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

In extraordinary circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, measures by public authorities or serious disruptions to infrastructure, performance of an order may be delayed or prevented. We will inform you as soon as possible and try to limit the consequences. Our liability in such cases is assessed under the applicable law, and we are released from liability only to the extent that law allows. This does not limit your mandatory consumer rights, including your right to terminate and to be refunded where the law gives it.

9. Product information and images

We strive to ensure that product information and images are as accurate as possible. We reserve the right to correct typographical errors and note that colours and appearance may vary depending on screen settings, photo quality and resolution. Images may show accessories not included in the price.

All content on the website (text, data, code listings, images, etc.) is protected by copyright and may not be used without written permission from Valeryd.

10. Personal data

When you shop with us, we process your personal data to fulfil your purchase, handle customer service matters and comply with our legal obligations, in accordance with the GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Cookies

The website uses cookies to function correctly, for analytics and, where applicable, for marketing. We use Cookiebot (Usercentrics) to manage your consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on the website. See our Cookie Policy for details.

12. Changes to these terms

Valeryd reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect, via information on the website and/or directly to you by email. Orders already placed are governed by the terms in effect at the time of the order.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. However, if you are a consumer resident in another EU/EEA country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence.

Disputes that cannot be resolved through our customer service may, where they fall within its competence, be referred to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) in Sweden, arn.se. Consumers in other EU countries with a cross-border dispute can obtain free assistance through their national European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net). You always retain the right to bring a matter before the competent courts, including those of your country of residence where the rules on jurisdiction allow it.
