Closing an open tube end
A cover plug closes off the open end of a frame tube or a rail so water, grit and insects stay out of the section, and it takes the raw cut edge out of reach. Because the plug is held by the tube wall, the wall thickness matters as much as the outside dimension — measure both before ordering. Push the plug in square so it seats all the way round.
