VALERYD supplies lifting hooks in grade 80.
The hook is the connecting point between the chain and the load. Every hook here gives its chain size and its working load limit in the name. Fast delivery from our own warehouse in Sweden.
How to choose a hook
Start with the chain size, given as 6-8mm, 10-8mm and so on, since the hook has to take that chain. Then check the working load limit against what the assembly has to carry.
Types
A clevis sling hook connects directly to the chain with a pin. An eye sling hook takes a connecting link. A swivel hook lets the load turn without twisting the chain. Weld-on hooks are fixed to the structure rather than to a chain.
Lifting hooks
See chain slings, master links and connecting links for the rest of the assembly.
