Steel Corner protector for 50mm Chain/Webbing, Galvanized 110x110x150mm

Steel corner protector for 50 mm chain or webbing for trailer

Corner protector in steel for 50 mm chain or webbing, galvanized, measuring 110 x 110 x 150 mm. Reference number KCP005.

Why a corner protector goes under the lashing

The protector sits over the corner of the load so the lashing runs across a formed face instead of a sharp edge. That keeps the edge from cutting into 50 mm webbing, which loses strength quickly once the weave is damaged, and it spreads the pressure so the corner of the load is not crushed. Position the protector before the lashing is tensioned and check it has stayed put once the tension is on.
