GSM overrun brake R2/L is a mechanical overrun device for braked trailers with a maximum authorised mass of 1000 kg. This overrun brake is used in the trailer braking system and transfers the movement from the drawbar to the wheel brakes during braking.

Overrun brake in trailer braking system

During braking, the trailer moves forward towards the towing vehicle which activates the overrun brake and transfers the force through the brake mechanism to the trailer’s wheel brakes.
