Overrun brake in trailer braking system
When the trailer is pushed forward towards the towing vehicle during braking, the overrun brake is activated and the force is transferred through the brake mechanism to the trailer's wheel brakes. During service, the brake ID and the components of the braking system should be checked to ensure that the unit corresponds to the trailer's installation and functions correctly.
