Peitz overrun brake PAV/SR 1.3 1350 kg for trailer

Peitz overrun brake PAV/SR 1.3 is a mechanical overrun device for braked trailers with a maximum authorised mass of up to 1350 kg. It is used together with the Peitz braking system R234-76 and functions as a central component in the trailer braking system by transferring the movement from the drawbar to the wheel brakes during braking.

Overrun brake in trailer braking system

When the trailer is pushed against the towing vehicle during braking, the overrun brake is activated and the movement is transferred to the brake lever which affects the wheel brakes. During service, the components of the braking system should be checked regularly and worn parts replaced to ensure that the trailer brake functions correctly.
