Overrun brake Peitz PAV/SR 2.0 2000 kg for trailer

The Peitz overrun brake PAV/SR 2.0 is a mechanical overrun device for braked trailers with a maximum authorised mass of up to 2000 kg. The unit is used together with the Peitz braking system R234-76 and functions as a central component in the trailer braking system by transferring the movement from the drawbar to the wheel brakes during braking.

Overrun brake in trailer braking system

The overrun brake activates the trailer’s wheel brakes when the trailer is pushed forward against the towing vehicle during braking. The movement is transferred via the overrun device to the brake lever which affects the wheel brakes in the trailer’s braking system. During service, the components of the braking system should be checked regularly and worn parts replaced to ensure correct function.
