Brake shoes 230×40 for ALKO drum brake

The brake shoes sit in the drum brake and are pressed against the inner surface of the brake drum when the brakes are applied. Friction slows wheel rotation. During service, brake shoes, springs and brake drum should be checked. Worn linings give reduced braking power. Always replace brake shoes in pairs on the same axle and check that the brake drum is not worn beyond manufacturer tolerance.
