The set contains 4 brake shoes including spring set and is used when servicing or replacing worn brake components in the drum brake. The 300×60 dimension is specific to ALKO 3062 and will not fit other ALKO systems without verifying the model and dimension against your axle. Brake shoes for ALKO 3062 drum brake on braked axle

The brake shoes sit in the drum brake and are pressed against the inner surface of the brake drum when the brakes are activated. Friction creates braking force that reduces wheel rotation. Worn linings reduce braking force and increase stopping distance. Check lining thickness during service and replace when it reaches the minimum limit. Also check spring function when replacing. Always replace brake shoes in pairs on the same axle for even braking on both sides.
