The lens protects the lamp and keeps the light output and colour correct. A cracked or clouded lens lets in dirt and water and dims the light the lamp puts out. Fast delivery from our own warehouse in Sweden.
How to choose the right lens
The lens is chosen by the lamp it belongs to, not by the trailer. Check the make and the model of the lamp housing first. If neither is marked, measure the lens.
Measurements
Lens measurements are given in the product name for 78 of the 83 lenses here, as length by width by depth in millimetres. Measure the old lens across the same three dimensions and compare, including the depth, since two lenses can share a face size and still not seat.
Left and right
53 of the lenses are made specifically for the left or the right side. The lamp functions sit in a fixed order, so a left lens will not give the correct colours in a right hand housing. Check which side you are replacing before ordering.
Spare lenses
If the lens is damaged it is worth checking the rest of the lamp. Look at rear lights, position lights and side marker lights. Water that has got past a cracked lens often reaches the connectors as well.
