How to choose
Start with the functions the vehicle needs, then the mounting and the size of the opening. Check whether the lamp is left or right specific, since the functions sit in a fixed order across the lamp.
Voltage
A lorry runs 24 V. A 12 V lamp on a 24 V supply will fail. Lamps marked 12 to 24 V work on both, which is useful on a trailer that is pulled by both.
