How to choose an unbraked trailer axle
The axle is chosen by weight rating, track width and overall width, and wheel bolt pattern. All three are given in the product name. 51 of the 53 axles here are 4x100.
Weight rating
In most European countries an unbraked trailer is limited by gross weight, which in practice puts most of them under 750 kg. The axle has to be rated for the trailer plate, and a heavier axle does not raise what the trailer is allowed to carry.
Unbraked trailer axles
The hubs and bearings usually come off with the old axle. Check wheel hubs, wheel bearings and hub caps while the axle is off, and complete wheels if the bolt pattern is changing.
