When choosing a hub cap, it is important to check the hub dimensions, the cap's diameter, depth, shape and how it is fitted. The hub cap must fit the correct hub, brake drum or wheel hub and sit securely without play or damaging the seal.
How do I know the right size of hub cap?
Measure the existing hub cap or the hub opening and check the diameter, depth and fixing. Also compare with the axle's or hub's specification if available. At the same time, check the condition of the wheel bearing, hub seal, castle nut, flange nut and the hub cap's contact surface.
