How to choose the right bush
The bush is chosen by the make and the model of the overrun device, not by the trailer. The model is marked on the device itself. Several bushes come as kits covering front and rear positions, since both wear together.
Signs the bushes are worn
Play in the drawbar when the trailer is uncoupled, a knocking sound at low speed, or braking that comes on later than it used to. Worn bushes also put extra load on the overrun damper.
Bushes for overrun devices
Bushes are usually replaced alongside the other wearing parts of the overrun brake. Check overrun dampers, drawbars and rubber bellows at the same time.
