The bow stop at the front of the trailer

A bow stop roller sits at the front of the trailer, where it meets the bow of the load and holds it in position. It takes the last of the pushing force as the load comes into place and then the forward shove every time you brake, which is what makes the angle matter: the roller has to bear against the shape of the load rather than on an edge. Check the roller and its mounting for wear, and keep within the maximum load of 1000 kg.
