Fork heads in the brake linkage
A fork head is wound onto a threaded rod and takes a pin through its two ears, which is what lets the linkage pivot as the overrun coupling works in and out. Because it screws onto the rod, how far it is wound on also sets the working length of the linkage, so it is locked once the brakes are adjusted. Check the pin and the holes it passes through for wear, since play there shows up as lost travel before the brakes take hold.
