VALERYD supplies grade 80 connecting links for joining chain slings and shortening lifting chain.
A connecting link is the part that lets a sling be built or repaired without welding. Grade 80 is the rating class, and every component in a lifting assembly has to be the same grade or better.
What the range covers
Four links, all grade 80, rated from 1120 kg to 5300 kg. They take 6 to 8 mm, 7/8 to 8 mm, 10 to 8 mm and 13 to 8 mm chain.
Working load limit
The rating on the link applies to the assembly only if nothing else in it is weaker. A 5300 kg link on 8 mm chain is still limited by the chain. The figure to work to is the lowest rating in the whole chain of components.
