An unbraked trailer has no wheel brakes, so the coupling head only has to hold the trailer to the tow ball. It is simpler than a braked coupling and has no connection to a brake mechanism. Fast delivery from our own warehouse in Sweden.
How to choose
Match the weight rating to the gross weight on the trailer plate, and the tube diameter to the drawbar. Both square and round drawbars are covered here. Check the bolt pattern as well, since the hole spacing differs between makes.
Coupling heads
A braked trailer needs a different coupling, see coupling heads for braked trailers. Fitting an unbraked coupling to a braked trailer leaves the wheel brakes with nothing to operate them. Tow eyes cover trailers with a ring coupling instead of a ball.
