Brake shoes 200x50 for brake systems from BPW on braked trailers. The set contains 4 brake shoes including spring set artnr 4010070 and 4010075 and is used during service or replacement of worn brake components in drum brakes. Always check brake type and dimension to ensure correct fit.

VALERYD X-Tech brake shoes are developed using a unique technology where the friction lining is pressed into the brake shoe under very high pressure and temperature. The lining penetrates X-shaped grooves in the steel, creating a very strong mechanical bond between the friction lining and the brake shoe. Brake shoes in drum brake on trailer

The brake shoes are mounted in the trailer's drum brake and are pressed against the inside of the brake drum when the brake system is activated. The friction between the brake lining and the brake drum creates braking force which reduces the rotation of the wheel. During service the brake shoes and springs should be inspected regularly and worn components replaced to ensure the brake system functions correctly.
