How to choose a sling
Start with the working load limit and the length, both given in every product name here. The length has to suit the lift, since a sling used at an angle carries more than its straight rating suggests.
Round slings and webbing slings
A round sling is an endless loop and spreads the load around its whole circumference. A flat webbing sling has sewn eyes at each end. Marine webbing straps are made for use around water.
